STADE’S RUM

The Spirit of Barbados

Brand Strategy, Visual Identity, Brand Home

The Challenge

Stade’s Rum was born in Barbados, a place bursting with energy, colour, and culture. But the brand lacked the vibrancy of its origin. It didn’t reflect the warmth of the Caribbean, the character of its distillery by the beach, or the spirit of the people who craft it.

The Opportunity

We had the chance to inject life and soul into the brand. By capturing the essence of Barbados. Its rich heritage, bold nature, and untamed beauty. We could create a brand identity that truly embodied the island: colourful, distinctive, and full of energy.

Island Spirit

We built a visual identity that radiates with the spirit of the island. Bold, expressive colour palettes evoke the Caribbean landscape. Illustrations inspired by the local flora and fauna bring storytelling and vibrancy. At the heart of it all, the flying fish, an iconic symbol of Barbados, becomes a dynamic brand emblem. It captures the energy and innovative spirit of the distillery, its rum, and its people. Layered with cues of heritage and handcrafted detail, the new identity gives Stade’s Rum the personality it always deserved.

Celebrating Craft, Culture, and Character

We transformed the distillery itself into a living canvas of Barbados’ vibrancy. Walls were painted in bold, tropical hues, immersing visitors in the island’s colour and energy from the moment they arrive. Every corner tells a story: heritage, innovation, and the meticulous craft behind each bottle of rum. The visitor experience guides people through the heart of Stade’s, from the innovation in the distilling process to the rich traditions that shaped it, all framed through the lens of Barbadian character. Warm, bold, and unforgettable.
