With casks tucked away in some of the finest distilleries across Scotland, Chivas Brothers is one of the most famous names in luxury whisky. Every so often, a cask emerges with such outstanding character, it is deemed ‘only for the few’.
Now, what do you do with such exceptional whiskies? You create an exceptional home for them, of course.

The Experience
There are many VIP whisky experiences. Our challenge was to create the VIP experience. The quintessential destination, where private clients have the privilege of purchasing the rarest of casks.
Authentically Scottish; undoubtedly exclusive. Nestled in Strathisla, the oldest continually operating distillery in Scotland. The Vault is that experience - the key to Chivas Brothers’ private collection.
The Lounge
A snug space to relax and share the space with one of only 21 diamond-encrusted bottles of 45-year-old Royal Salute ‘Tribute to Honour’. Here, guests get closely acquainted with the master distiller and learn about Chivas Craft.
They are treated to tales of rare wood effects on colour, flavour and style and an exploration of the collection of whisky staves and Chivas Brothers’ stave swords. This is the warmest of Scottish welcomes and the perfect start to an epic journey.
The Liquid Library
An opulent expression of a classic blending room. where the master distiller discusses flavour profiles with his guests. 250 different Chivas Brothers whiskies are displayed in hand-made cabinets emblazoned with a specially commissioned poem by Edinburgh poet laureate, Ron Butlin.
A bespoke carved ceiling - inspired by the work of Margaret Macdonald, the wife of Charles Rennie Mackintosh - gazes down at meticulously crafted granite and copper tables; a specially commissioned, intricately handwoven, Indian silk rug; and glorious glass pendants all adorning the setting.
The Vault
Where liquid gold is lovingly stored and matured. Here, 14 of Chivas Brothers’ rarest casks sit on sandstone plinths behind ornate, custom-made iron gates. A cathedral-inspired vault. A central, alter-like tasting table, encircled by a shaft of warm light with views up through a double height void, revealing the original timber ceiling beams. A truly majestic finale to a unique experience.

Very special guests are treated to an experience of genuine Celtic warmth in an exclusive, luxury setting. This is an opportunity to be fully immersed in, and to be part of, the Chivas Brothers story that began way back in 1786.
With prices going deep into six figures for a single cask, we were given cart blanche to create the pinnacle of luxury cask experiences. Emphasising the premium credentials of the Chivas Brothers and ensuring they stand head and shoulders above the competition.
